What is a Serviced Apartment?

Your Brera is a stylish home away from home. Designed for comfort and extended stays, Brera apartments are furnished living, dining and sleeping spaces fitted with all the amenities you’d buy for yourself. Featuring coffee machines and kitchen appliances, tableware and bedding, high-speed internet and housekeeping service. In case you need more, simply refer to our Services à la Carte or chat with your building host who can offer local advice and help in pinch.

What services does Brera offer?

Brera offers a self-service laundry, housekeeping, and baby sets for your young ones. Housekeeping will make sure that your apartment is spotless, and that fresh towels and linen are in abundant supply. Cleaning twice a month is filtered into the price of your stay, but you are more than welcome to request additional weekly cleans for an additional fee. Baby sets are comprised of all the ingredients for baby’s happy stay, complete with crib, high-chair, and crockery. For information about any of these, please refer to our Services à la Carte menu. We recommend our partner Urban Sports for sport activies without long-term contracts.

Why should I choose Brera over a hotel or a private lodging?

Brera offers all the contemporary comforts and necessary amenities, while being kind to your budget. It is a stylish home away from home, complete with laundry, dry-cleaning and housekeeping services when you want them and plenty of privacy and peace of mind when you don’t. Each of the buildings have a host who is ready to offer assistance, local tips and input that will help to make your stay as enjoyable as possible.

Booking with Brera

What is Brera’s length of stay policy?

Brera accommodates guests from 7 to 180 nights at a time. If you would like to discuss a different time frame, however, all you need to do is get in touch and let us know about it.

Does Brera charge online booking fees?

We wouldn’t do that to you. To skip reservation fees and added unnecessary fuss, just book directly on our website.

Will I have to pay a deposit?

Absolutely not, but we use your provided credit card details as a guarantee. We only ask that you take care of your Brera home. In case of damage, we’ll figure it out together.

Can I speak to a real person?

Of course. Our Brera Hosts will be delighted to meet you. Their main goal is to help iron out any kinks in your stay. You’ll find them in the Brera, or catch them on the phone from Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm. We’ll make sure you receive their contact details via email with your booking information.

Do I need a credit card to make a booking?

Yes, please. We’d like you to provide us with a valid credit card to confirm your booking.

What is Brera’s cancellation policy?

Our cancellation policies depend on the booking rates that you’ve selected. There are two kinds:1. Smart Rates can not be cancelled after booking.2. Flex Rate can be cancelled up to four days before you are due to arrive. After that, the first 14 days of your stay will be charged to your credit card. We will, however, cancel any pre-booked services free of charge.

What payment methods does Brera accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, China Union Pay, JCB, Diners, Maestro, VPay and Amex. When booking, your credit card will require pre-authorization for the amount of your first month’s invoice. These same credit card details will be used for any subsequent charges you incur during your stay.

Can I shorten my stay?

Yes. Please refer to our cancellation policies to find your booking rate and conditions. There are two types of rates:1. Smart Rates can only be cancelled and rebooked within 24 hours after booking.2. Flex can be shortened up to 14 days before your desired check-out date.

Can I extend my stay?

With pleasure. To do so, simply check the availability of your apartment category with your Brera Host. In order to help secure your extended stay, let us know about your extension plans as soon as they come up.

Can I change my selected services during my stay?

Naturally. While the month currently underway will be charged to your credit card, all services that you would like changed can be booked for the month ahead.

Staying at Brera

What time can I check-in?

Your Brera Host will reach out to you to arrange a suitable check-in time from Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm. If you would prefer your automated check-in, keep your PIN number close, walk up to our automated check-in box, type it in and retrieve your keycard. (It’s really that simple.) In case anything goes wrong, the Brera emergency number can be found in your booking confirmation email. Your Host will be able to help you from Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm.

What do I need for check-in?

We’d like to see your passport (along with the embarrassing photo), the credit card you booked your reservation with and the desire to kick-off your stay as soon as possible. Meet you host during office hour (Mo – Fr 8am to 6pm) personally for your check-in and in case you will arrive outside office hour please download the JustIN Mobile app in your app store (Android or IOS) in order to enter the building. You will receive a code to activate the app. Upon arrival you will find the check-in terminal (in Munich and Frankfurt) for which you will need your passport (in case your document will not be recognized an alternative field to enter the confirmation number will be visible after three trials) to receive your apartment key. You will be able to enter your apartment in Nuremberg with the app only (no check-in terminal needed). Your home away from home awaits you….happy stay!

What time can I check-out?

Usually before 11am. A week before your departure, your Brera Host will contact you to make arrangements at your convenience. Please note that while every effort will be made to accommodate a late check-out, it will fluctuate due to the availability of the apartments and at the discretion of your Brera Host.

Does Brera have a reception area?

While we may not have a reception area, that doesn’t mean we don’t have reception services. Your Brera Host will be on-site throughout the duration of your stay. They are available in person on weekdays between 8am and 6pm, and just a phone call away. For your convenience and security, keycard entry is possible 24/7.

How can I reach my Brera Host?

We’ll make sure you receive the phone number of your Brera Host with your booking confirmation email. They are reachable by phone from Monday to Friday between 8am and 6pm, but are also on site on weekdays.

Is someone available for after-hours enquiries?

Your Brera Host will be available to offer any assistance that you may need. They are on site on weekdays. Their phone number will be sent to you with your booking confirmation email.

What should I do if I lose my keycard?

Panic! Just kidding. Simply make your way to either your Brera Host or our new automated keycard box. The box will ask for your PIN number, just type it in and a new keycard will be issued to you. Please note that we have to charge you a fee of €150,00 for each loosing of a keycard or if the lock & key service had to open your door.

Does Brera provide bed linen and towels?

Yes. Linen and towels are provided and changed every two weeks. If you would like a more frequent freshening up, please refer to our Services à la Carte to book our weekly housekeeping service.

Are there laundry facilities at Brera?

Brera Houses feature a modern laundry room with washing machines, dryers, irons and full-sized ironing boards.

What are my dining options?

All Brera apartments are fitted with an electric stovetop, fridge with freezer, microwave with grill function, as well as glassware, crockery, cutlery, and cooking and service utensils. If you would like to dine out, tap the local knowledge of your Brera Host for recommendations. You’ll get valuable and impartial advice, and directions to a location that you’ll savour.

Does Brera clean the apartments?

All apartments are given a regular sprucing every two weeks. Our Services à la Carte offers convenient additional weekly cleans in case you so desire.

Can I park at Brera?

We do offer on-site parking, but only in Munich. Your Brera Host will help you.

Are Brera Houses secure?

Security is a major priority at Brera. Thanks to a state-of-the-art digital entry system, we ensure that only Brera tenants and their guests have access to Brera Houses. To make sure you don’t miss any wanted visitors or deliveries, each apartment is fitted with an intercom and a letterbox.
